Hiding from the Paparazzi

Sometimes a bassist doesn't want his photo taken. 

Other times he gives in, realizing that the photographer isn't going to give up easily.

The Lincoln Jam is now on Kickstarter. Check out our video, read more about us, and support us by donating some money (and receiving some swag in return).

The money that is raised will go toward paying Adam's salary (Adam helps organize and lead the band.), buy needed equipment, produce the loot that we're offering to donors, and hopefully even provide enough seed money to make this program a lasting legacy at Lincoln Middle School, a school full of talent but with a bit fewer resources than some of the other middle schools in town.

Last year's Lincoln House Band played a couple of times at Avogadro's Number.

They also played at Civic Center Park.

And they played in Old Town Square.

Max belts it out on Johnnie B Goode. And Messina rocks R.E.S.P.E.C.T. while MQ jazzes it up with the saxophone.

Here are a couple of songs the Jam Band performed at school in December.

Lincoln Jam Logo Contest Ad

The Lincoln Jam needs a logo! Students are invited to draw a logo for the Jam and turn them in to Mr. Benson or Mrs. Hansen-Conn by January 19th. The winner will be announced on the 20th and (once they're printed) will receive a free t-shirt bearing their logo.

It would be nice if contestants can turn in a digital copy of their logo at 300 dpi, but if that's all Greek to you, then turning in a drawing on a piece of paper is cool, too.
